Arts Council England has given Burslem Park Partnership £9,860 to finance its Success to our Park project that supports artistic activities in the park.
The Partnership will be working with Stoke-on-Trent City Council staff and local artists Hilary Hughes, Steve Cooling and Rachel Grant from B.Arts! to encourage people to see the park as an inspiring and creative place.
Over the next three months, young people from Haywood High School, Moorpark Junior School and Moorland Park Youth Centre will be taking part in the project and producing banners and flags for the restored park’s “grand opening ceremony” on Saturday, June 23rd.
