Save Our Heritage – Cathedral’s second protest song against VAT

A second protest song warning that government plans could put Wakefield Cathedral’s restoration in jeopardy has been released.

The song recorded in the Cathedral, a Grade 1 listed building, attacks the government’s budget proposal to introduce VAT on projects to restore listed buildings.

NewsDesk – Asked to write about local architect A. R. Wood

The Phoenix Trust has been commissioned to write a series of articles about architect A. R. Wood who designed Tunstall Town Hall and Middleport Pottery.

Wood was one of North Staffordshire’s leading architects and the trust will enjoy working on this project.
